How do you pay attention for signs from the universe that
the law of attraction and manifesting works?
To read the signs, one must first be aware they exist.
Another word for destiny is fortune, so to be propelled in the direction of your destiny is to be nudged toward your fortune.
Like a map leading to treasure, a legend or map key unlocks the symbols so you can read the map and understand where you are so you can get where you’re going.
For example, if you wanted to take a road trip to Mexico for some beach time and mango margaritas but started seeing signposts that you were approaching the Canadian border, you now have the choice to keep going or turn around.
The Universe
knows the best route and places signs in your path to let you know if you’re
headed in the right direction.
Reading signs from the Universe requires an understanding that everything in your life is interrelated. There are messages contained in your hopes, what shows up in your dreams at night, your symptoms, the aches and pains in your body, the song lyrics you can’t get out of your head, the recurring drama, the book that jumps off the shelf and lands at your feet, the state of your bank account, the shape of your toes, yes, even in the shape of your toes and the lines on your face.
Everything is linked. The meaning of your name, your life lessons, your frustrations, your life purpose, your gifts, your challenges, the numbers that keep showing up, the word that you notice frequently, your personal symbols — all of it contains information you can use to connect the dots on the map and find your treasure. There are clues hanging on branches like ripe fruit, just waiting for you to look up and notice.
But that’s
just it, you’ve got to notice and to pay attention.
What fortune is your treasure map leading you to? Anything that facilitates loving your life and living the life you love, whatever promotes your health, wealth, love, faith, and self-expression. Having seven favorite days of the week is your treasure.
To call in more treasure, creating a vision board is an effective way to communicate with the Universe and manifest your dreams. Through clarity of placing the words and images that represent what you want on a page, you’re sending up a flare to the Universe and transmitting the energy of your desires.
In turn, the Universe places signs along your path so you know that the law of attraction and manifesting works.
While the science of making things happen can be explained — from thought to thing — there’s also a mixture of faith and trust involved in the manifesting process.
I made up a
word to describe it — Optimystical.
To be optimistic is to feel hopeful and confident about the future, and mystical inspires a sense of spiritual mystery.
Optimystical, then, is the sweet spot; the optimal combination of doing your part while trusting the Universe to do its part and support you manifesting your goals.
